Randy Richardson

Randy Richardson is Co-PI on the award with Provost Paul Sypherd. He was primarily responsible for writing the proposal and, with the Provost, responsible for the documentation, dissemination, and limited expansion of programs recognized by the Award. His research interests involve understanding the dynamics of plate tectonic (geologic) processes. As Associate Dean he is primarily responsible for academic issues in the College. He teaches at all levels from introductory science for non-science majors through technical graduate courses in geosciences.

Tom Bourgeois

Tom functioned as a representative from the Office for the Vice President for Undergraduate Education to assist Randy Richardson in compiling materials for the award proposal, and in drafting that proposal as well. Currently, Bourgeois' acts as an impartial observer/participant external to the College of Science to assist in the overall direction and oversight of the award.

Mauri manages the College of Science office, and provides administrative support for the P&T process and the RAIRE group.

Bill McCallum

Bill is the Associate Head of the Mathematics Department, and Director of the Math Center, UA's center for undergraduate math majors, which coordinates undergraduate research activity in the department. Bill's role in the RAIRE proposal was to provide information on SEPTC, and suggestions for how it could be disseminated and expanded using the award. The mathematics department has been particularly active in promoting and using SEPTC, and in integrating research and education generally.

Carol is the Director of the Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP) and Co-Director of the Biomedical Research Abroad: Vistas Open! (BRAVO!) Program.

Richard Hallick

Rick is co-founder and supervising faculty member of the Biology Learning Center computing facility. He also co-founded the Biology Project in 1995, and has contributed content to many topic areas.

Denice Warren

Denice coordinates development of The Biology Project and provides tutelage for students creating final projects on the WWW in UA's introductory honors biology course. She is "webmaster" of the UA RAIRE site, and supervises a student web designer who develops and maintains several of the RAIRE dissemination web sites.

Nathan Hartvigsen

Nathan develops and maintains several of the RAIRE dissemination web sites, including UBRP, BRAVO!, and this site. Nathan's work is funded by the recognition award. He is a Linguistics major at the UA, and was a 181 honors student who created a web project on "Genetic Immunization" and a UBRP student.
